For the Days When All is Well....

There are times when life is hurry and flurry and bluster and blow.

Our family has been caught in the middle of a raging tempest for the last few months.

The hardest part of it all was not being able to find the cause.

Of course, our Lord never left us alone.
He slowly opened doors, and led us to people, and into conversations, until we were able to find the source of our troubles...
and some possible solutions.

And now we are well, and our bodies are whole again, and our days have taken on the sound of life after the storm.....just the quiet dripping of the remaining water cupped in the leaves outside.
And we are grateful.

*To all of you who have prayed for us and sent encouraging notes over the last few weeks ~ thank you. They mean more than you may ever know.

  1. Great news! Praise God! My husband is starting to get well, too, but since he's elderly, it's taking him a bit longer. We also have searched and searched for what the cause was, but whatever it is, it is slowly letting go (we hope) because he was able to try to weed around the house and mow a tiny bit of the yard Monday and Thursday although he had a little set back Tuesday - Wednesday, but not real bad. His face suddenly seemed brighter a week ago Friday night. He's not awake yet, so we'll see how he's doing later this morning. His hope was to mow more because several days of rain are coming and the grass is soooo tall. But he won't be able to get it all done. I wonder why the volunteers haven't come, as promised. Hope they didn't get it, whatever it was. Maybe the doctor was right, a super virus. It was different than any virus we'd ever had.
