Important Prayer Request

We are asking that everyone please pray for our presidential elections. Ghana voted for president on December 7th, but no one got the 50% +1 that was needed to become president. We had our presidential run-off on Sunday the 28th, and they just announced that the race will be going to a third round on Friday. It's a long story. Things are calm at the moment, but democracy is still a a relatively new idea here. Ghanaians love democracy and peace, but Satan always seeks to destroy when he is given an opportunity. People are doing their best to remain calm, but this is putting a lot of pressure on everyone.
We ask that you specifically pray for truth and justice to prevail, and that peace will continue to reign.

  2. We will put this on our prayer list. We have an important prayer request also; we are moving to a new church in Alabama. I have more posted on my blog.

We wish you a Happy New Year!

  3. I will put this prayer request on our church prayer list. Thanks for the encouraging words about Jacob's reading. Sometimes I just get so frustrated, and worried. Which is silly I know. Please keep us posted about the elections!
